Inspections that we offer
Home Inspections:
The purchase of a home is typically the largest investment that the majority of Americans make. A home inspection will detect areas that need improvement, which can lead to a reduction for the asking price or be a bargaining tool for you. The home inspection is a win-win for the home buyer. If the home inspector finds nothing significantly wrong with the house, the buyer can proceed with the purchase and peace of mind.
Items included in the inspection are as follows:

4.0 Inspections:
A four-point inspection is often required when obtaining a new homeowners insurance policy or when renewing an existing policy. The nature of the inspection is to provide proof that the necessary updates have been done to your home. The inspection covers the following four systems:
 |
Roofing |
 |
Electrical |
 |
Heating / Cooling (HVAC) |
 |
Plumbing |
Wind Mitigation Inspections:
Wind mitigation inspections identify building features and improvements to your home. Insurance discounts are available for building features that reduce damage during high wind events such as tropical storms and hurricanes. Such features include improved roof shingles, strong roof decks, hurricane clips/straps, impact resistant glazing or shutter protection for windows, roof geometry and other construction techniques.
The discounts are justified because stronger, more wind-resistive structures have lower windstorm losses, which mean reduced costs to insurance companies. Most existing structures have one or more wind resistive construction features and may qualify for some insurance discounts.
**Average reported savings range from $350 - $2800 per year.**
Roof Inspections:
Roof inspections are often required to determine eligibility for insurance purposes. The Underwriter requires proof that the roof on the home is in good condition and has anticipated life expectancy remaining.
Owners and Underwriters often want an independent, non-biased inspection of roof repair to assure that the repair was done properly.
The report will include the observations, recommended corrections, and the anticipated remaining life provided the roof is given normal care and maintenance.
